            Raring to GO ! at the George Oval

 1. The hot seat - foam covered ally frame  2. Silencer - a newish addition for noise control. 3.Footpeg - the rider relies on the peg to assist in throwing the bike sideways into the corners and the rest has a raised end to prevent the boot slipping off.It is almost on the ground as the centre of gravity is as low as possible and the bike only races anti clockwise so the peg is on the "high side " 4. The motor - 500cc. 4 stroke with 14 to1 compression and runs on methanol. Capable of pushing the bike from 0 to 100km. in 2.5 seconds. 5. Battery for electronic ignition. There are no charging coils on the bike ( to save weight ) so the battery must be topped up from an external charger.  6. Air filter for the downdraft carb. The bikes are covered by a vinyl shroud which helps keep the dirt away from the filter. 7 Fuel tank  that carries just enough methanol four 4 laps only. 8. Throttle control and separate kill switch that is attached to the riders wrist 9. Grab handle to help loading and placing on loose stand for tuning. 10. Drive chain adjuster. 11. Clutch arm that pushes through to the dry clutch plates. 12. Front Suspension is set with a rubber band, simple hey ! 13. Front fender keeps some of the mud out the eyes of the rider. 14. Front vinyl cover used for sponsors. 15. Throttle control twist grip. 16. Seat ajustment to suit rider. 17. Frame known as the diamond as there is no rear suspension. 18.Rear tyre which is run at very low pressure and is usually  fixed to the rim with scews to aviod ripping the tubes valve out due to the power prouced from the motor. 19. Front wheel is 21 inch and determins the projectile of the bike as the rear wheel is usually sideways to the bikes direction !
